New Health Literacy Tutorial from NN/LM-NER
A new health literacy tutorial funded by the National Network of Libraries of Medicine New England Region (NN/LM-NER) has been launched. It is entitled Health Literacy: New Fields, New Opportunities and can be found at the following URL:

It includes sections on:
- Health literacy challenge
- Who are the health literacy practitioners
- Successful Strategies and Practices
- Applying what you have learned
The resource clearly outlines the challenges and the role for health literacy practitioners. The tutorial is linked on World Education’s Special Literacy and Health Collection site, http://www.healthliteracy.worlded.org. This project was spearheaded by Sabrina Kurtz Rossi, who has now been appointed Health Information Literacy Research Project Coordinator for the Medical Library Association.
