Upcoming Classes: National Training Center and Clearinghouse has announced a number of classes coming in September to our region.

  • Thur Sept 19, 2006, 8:30am to noon: Gateway/ClinicalTrials.gov

Chicago, IL

  • Wed Sept 27, 2006, 8:30am to 5:00pm: PubMed
  • Thur Sept 28, 2006, 9:00am to 4:00pm: TOXNET
  • Fri Sept 29, 2006, 8:30am to noon: Gateway/ClinicalTrials.gov

All the training sessions are free and intended for health sciences library staff, health professionals, and anyone interested in using these free National Library of Medicine (NLM) databases. The NLM Gateway is of particular interest to public and consumer health librarians. The Clinical Trials database is of interest to anyone concerned with consumer health. The TOXNET® class and database focus on environmental health and toxicology. By following this link, NLM Training Registration, you will be offered a quick and easy on-line registration form. The staff of the NTCC hopes to see you there.
