Virginia EP&R Conference Announcement

What About the Library? The Value of Libraries Before and After a Major Disaster will be presented at the Twin Hickory Branch of the Henrico Public Library (Richmond, VA) on Wednesday, October 6th. Keynote speaker will be Rebecca Hamilton, State Librarian, State Library of Louisiana. Her presentation will focus on emergency preparedness and response lessons as well as strategies for public libraries. Dan Wilson and some local emergency planners from the Virginia Department of Health will also be presenting. The conference is sponsored by the Library of Virginia and is funded by an award from the National Library of Medicine.
