Drug Abuse Summer Research Program
The Summer Research Program with the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) for Underrepresented Students program encourages students from groups underrepresented in the sciences to pursue careers in biomedical and behavioral research. Through this program, high school and undergraduate students from underrepresented groups are introduced to the field of substance abuse and addiction research by participating in research internships with some of NIDA’s most distinguished scientists at universities across the United States. Students work with leading scientists for 8-10 weeks during the summer.

Award Amount: Up to $10 per hour
